Fred on Italy

Fred's bottom line: "Naples and Rome were barely distinguishable from... Guadalajara: noisy, dirty, ugly, walls defaced by punks in need of a horsewhipping."

I had a family member visit Rome in the 1970's. That was pretty much her opinion as well. Nice to see that nothing has changed. I'd love to do Europe at some point, but I think I would rather hit some of the more out-of-the-way places.
