Ambulette?

What the hell is an ambulette? Wikipedia doesn't even know. I would like to know why my tax dollars are going to people that seem either indifferent or ignorant of basic traffic safety. Of course I would like to know why my tax dollars go a lot of places, but cutting off the company and prosecuting the drivers seems a no-brainer. Which means it will never happen, of course. If the State of New York cannot shut down an organization with "a long string of abuses," it doesn't seem that one more "abuse" will make much difference.

The simple answer is "follow the money." Specifically, campaign money.
