9 days, 4 hours, 43 minutes left. Time is going both too fast (getting things ready for departure) and too slow (getting out of this thankless, shit job). Made good progress this weekend, so I feel marginally better about the current status than I did a week ago. Auction goods are piled high in the garage waiting to be loaded onto the truck, and the sorting and elimination of personal detris is proceeding apace. There are three 50-gallon trash bags at the side of the road this morning that contain nothing but shit that I used to think was important. There is still way more than there should be, but the volume has been significantly reduced.

By the way, there are four 8-foot banquet tables loaded with semi-useless shit that is free for the taking. Whatever is left goes into the local landfill, so don't be shy.
