I wonder if Jerry Pournelle is having one of those "I told you so" moments. Why do we routinely ignore the opinions of the smartest people in our nation? We have sacrificed over 2,000 of our children for this. These are the times I hope there really is a God that will stick Mr. Bush and his neo-conservative ass-kissers in the hottest place in hell.
